Introduction:Persepolis Museum-Takht e Jamshid Museum,
Marv-Dasht(Persian: موزه تخت جمشید-پرسپولیس-پارسه )
Once the main building of "Xerxes Harem", Persepolis Museum is one of the country's oldest structures dedicated to house a museum. It was restored to its original state in 1932 and opened as a museum in 1937.
Prehistoric, Achamenian and Islamic artifacts are exhibited here, most of which were excavated on the site of Persepolis and in the ancient city of Estakhr.

It is situated in the Khashayar Shah’s Harem. It was inaugurated in 1938 under the name of Takht-e-Jamshid ( Persepolis). In this museum objects from the pre-historic, Achaemenian and Islamic periods are all collected in three different sections and are on exhibit.Read more
